VoLTE, or Voice over Long Term Evolution, is rapidly revolutionizing voice service for mobile communications. But making the transition to this new standard involves new equipment, new roaming partnership agreements, and new services and pricing, among a host of other major changes.

At Syniverse, we’ve been right in the thick of helping mobile operators navigate this transition, and on Oct. 5 we’ll be continuing this journey with our webinar on a particularly critical element of VoLTE – roaming. Our session, “VoLTE Roaming Charging and Clearing Explained,” will take a closer look at  some of the key opportunities and challenges of VoLTE roaming charging and clearing. Mary Clark, Chief Marketing Officer of Syniverse, and I will join our special guest, Keith Dyer,  Founder and Editor of The Mobile Network, to delve into these topics:

  • How are VoLTE and messaging being supported in TAP billing records?
  • How are charging elements for IMS-based services being kept separate?
  • What are the differences between VoLTE home routing and local breakout for charging and clearing processes?

The webinar is the latest installment in our VoLTE series that we began in December and last held a session on in April, “Making VoLTE Interconnect Work.”

Please register to attend on Oct. 5 at the link below. We hope you can join us!
